Yes, for me there is too much of a contrast between all the images that remain. Either westerangel really knows how to recreate scenes from anime/manga so well that the style itself can change completely for each picture... or what I feel, they are not his own. I could be wrong here but I feel used in a way for looking at images I thought were the users, where infact they are not - they are somebody elses hard work and effort. A friend here has also pointed out that some (if not all) the images left here are still from lesser known manga/animes...
Do yourself a huge favour mate, admit defeat and start from scratch. Who cares if you don't think you can draw/paint as well as someone else?
Art is about being an individual - as is being true to yourself.
You're so good with words... I agree with you, people who steal art (and I'm not accusing anyone for doing so by saying that...) won't feel the great feeling of accomplishment a person gets to feel when he or she has worked out a personal and unique style of drawing. That's the greatest reward an artist can get. Well, except if someone wants to pay huge amounts for said artist's work...

I compared your swing picture to a wallpaper on animewallpapers. and it was, stroke by stroke, Excatly like that wall paper! I coulden't know much about anime, sine I live in a contry where there isen't much of it, but I know for sure now that at least that " swing" picture is stolen! ( or you are the artist that drew that wallpaper, but...umm I dunt think so ^_~ )

Sorry kid, but art theft is NOT appreciated here on DA or anywhere. Stop being such a wannabe manga-ka. e_e Post your REAL art if you want people to respect you, no matter how bad you think it might look. Otherwise you're NOTHING but a useless and talentless waste of bandwidth. -_-
